A building can be understood as a whole, but it is also an arrangement of parts. BCSystem explores that relationship as a modular building tool in development.

Why the assembly matters

A collection of building pieces becomes useful through the relationships between them. Individual elements have their own form, but the larger structure is an arrangement: which parts are present, where they belong and what they create together.

That is the direction BCSystem explores as a modular building tool. Thinking about both a piece and an assembly gives construction a larger context than a catalog of separate objects. Our game development provides the setting in which we investigate that relationship.

Building and variation meet

UCSystem and BCSystem address related work from different starting points. UCSystem focuses on object variation through models, materials and parameters. BCSystem focuses on modular building and connected assemblies. Where a project needs both, the relationship between those tools becomes useful to consider.

Our plans include integration and a separate BCSystem release. That gives the building system a direction of its own while keeping the connection with customization visible. It does not mean that every development idea is already part of a published product.

What a future public update should clarify

As BCSystem becomes ready to demonstrate, public materials will need to show its workflow, explain the scope of its features and state the requirements of an actual release. Those details belong with a confirmed offering, rather than assumptions based on another tool.

Until then, the project page and journal are places to understand the idea and follow public progress. Developers looking for a currently published customization product can review UCSystem through its official FAB listing.

What is available today?

BCSystem remains in development. There is no public BCSystem store listing on this website yet. UCSystem is already available through its official FAB listing, where you can review its current requirements and licensing.

We will publish BCSystem demonstrations and confirmed availability when there is material ready to share. The project page is the place to follow its public direction.
